Agora Journal of Studies (ISSN: 2966-0238) is an online academic journal published by the Ágora Perene Institute. It publishes essays and specialized studies every six months. It is an unprecedented initiative to bring to the Brazilian public the dissemination of academic studies on the subject of Perennial and Classical Philosophy, and their interrelations with contemporary social and cultural problems in Brazil and the Iberian world.
How to submit articles ?
O Agora Journal of Studies accepted for publication:
- Academic articles, free essays, reviews and translated texts by Brazilian and foreign authors related to the disciplines of philosophy, social sciences and humanities.
- Focus on: i) Brazilian and Iberian thought; ii) classical studies; iii) oriental studies; iv) esotericist studies.
- The following are accepted articles in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
Submission rules
For Academic Essays
Articles must meet the following formatting requirements:
- Minimum length of 10 pages;
- Font: size 12;
- Spacing: 1.5;
- Include an abstract (max. 200 words) and keywords (max. 5).
- The submission file must be in Microsoft Word format (.docx) and sent by e-mail to [email protected]with the message title Academic Essay Submission - Cadernos Ágora.
Once submitted, the articles will be peer-reviewed by the Evaluation Board. For Free Essays (or Reviews/Translations)
- Minimum length of 10 pages.
- The submission file must be in Microsoft Word format (.docx) and sent by e-mail to [email protected]with the message title Free Essay Submission (or Review/Translation, if applicable) - Cadernos Ágora.
- Free essays (or reviews/translations) are dedicated to scientific dissemination and, once submitted, will be evaluated by the Evaluation Board. The evaluation will be less formal than for academic articles, with a focus on accessibility and clarity for a wider audience.
